Dialogue and Research Initiative
The Dialogue and Research Initiative (DRI) is national human rights and policy organisation based in Juba, South Sudan.
It is a non political non governmental organisation with its mission statement, “DRI exist to facilitate the roles of empowered and individuals in realising a just self-actualising and dignified lives through building peace and transforming lives in South Sudan”, and Vision, “ A just peaceful, democratic and prosperous society where equality, dignity and human rights flourish”.
It was established in 2013 by local peace building expert who believed in dialogue among the communities affected by conflict poverty which would generated peaceful coexistence leading greater peace and realisation of justice, accountability human rights in the country.
