Introduction About Us
Dialogue and Research Institute (DRI) was established in late 2013. It is a transformative human rights, peacebuilding, justice and democracy national organization which work with all communities and national institutions to effect change in public policies. DRI is contributing to transitions from the politics of war to politics of peace by promoting democratic governance and actives citizenship. Our main thematic area of expertise is influencing decision-makers to change public policies and practices in ways that will have a positive impact on the lives of men and women living in conflict and poverty.
Our main goal
Our main goal is to make advancements for peace building, support
governance and development of public policies including promotion of
effective democratic governance, economics justice, gender equity and
humanitarian services.
DRI promoting peace and reconciliation as well as restorative justice and
healing. DRI works with other Civil Societies Organizations (CSO) and
international actors in advancing Peace, human rights, documentation and
institutional capacity development.
Better South Sudan For All
As a promoter of humanitarian services, human rights, DRI takes gender
equality seriously and is keen on promoting women and youth’s voice and
considers it at national, as well as State, County, Payam, Boma and village
level. We believe that gender equality is an important tool for development
as well as formal and informal institutions in the country. DRI is working for
peace by reconciling broken trust between communities, legislators and
judiciary governance in South Sudan.
